FOR MOST, FEAR IS TO BE AVOIDED.
BUT FOR SOME, FEAR IS TO BE CHASED. FEAR IS A DRUG. FEAR IS A WAY OF LIFE.

FEAR

Simply defined, fear is a strong, unpleasant emotion caused by the anticipation of danger and is one of the most common human experiences known to man.

The show is a gripping documentary series that explores our relationship with fear through the eyes and minds of those who live for it… extreme athletes who consistently face all odds and risk death to accomplish super heroic athletic goals and dreams. Can we learn from their experience how to deal with our own fear?

THE HOST

KRISTEN ULMER

Fear Specialist

For 12 years, Kristen was known for being the best female big mountain extreme skier in the world and was, self-admittedly, a fear addict. She was also voted Most Extreme Female Athlete in North America, beating out all danger sports stars, not just skiers.

But surviving back to back near-death experiences was her rock bottom so she decided to retire from the mountains, turning her intimacy with fear into a career.

The Art of Fear Book

Now a fear specialist, Kristen works with clients, from Olympic athletes to C-suite executives and everyone in between, who struggle with varying areas of fear: anxiety, insomnia, PTSD and sports performance, just to name a few. She recently wrote a best-selling book “The Art of Fear”, addressing how to embrace fear in order to lead a fuller life.
